Our group wanted to used 25 seconds from one of 'The Avalanches' songs to be played in the ending credits of our micro-series. I decided to add them as a friend on MySpace and then send them a message asking whether it would be ok. We managed to get a friend acceptance in two days of adding them and I then sent them a message. They then replied to my message within another two days and they have said that it would be ok for us to sample it and that we should credit them in the ending credits.
Below is a screen shot of the messages that we sent and received from 'The Avalanches'. We are also planning on sending them a link to the series, after we have finished, so that they can see how we have put in part of their track and credited them.
